Turkish Airlines boosts London Heathrow departures

Turkish Airlines has announced a new daily flight from London Heathrow Airport to Istanbul, Turkey.

This move signifies the popularity of the destination and the sought-after nature of the Turkish Airlines service for both business and pleasure with onward journeys available to more countries than any other airline.

Osman Battal, Turkish Airlines general manager for Heathrow and Gatwick said: “We are delighted to announce a new addition to our already impressive roster of flights from London Heathrow.

“We are incredibly proud of our Turkish roots and happy that more and more passengers are using our airline to visit Turkey; not only as a final stop but also as a hub to their onward destination.

“We are always looking for ways of improving our service and responding to customer demand by adding new flights is a great start.

The new flights will operate from October 25th 2015 and bring a total of 38 flights a week from Heathrow to Istanbul.

The flight will leave Istanbul at 14.50 each day, arriving at Heathrow at 17.00.

The return flight will leave London at 18.00, landing in Istanbul at 23.50.
