In line with its strategy to reinforce connectivity across its international markets, TAM Airlines, part of LATAM Airlines Group, has launched a new route that connects Spain with Brazil.
From October 1st, TAM will operate a new direct flight between Barcelona and Sao Paulo Guarulhos International Airport.
Tickets are available to buy on the LAN and TAM websites from today.
Flight JJ8115 will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, departing Barcelona at 21.45 and arriving in Sao Paulo at 04.40.
The return flight will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, departing Guarulhos at 23.55 and arriving at El Prat Airport in Barcelona at 15.35.
The route will be operated with the Airbus A330 aircraft, configured with 183 seats in Economy and 32 seats Premium Business.
The new route aims to satisfy increasing demand from passengers in the domestic Spanish market.
It also positions Spain as an important point for connecting flights from the Mediterranean and Europe with LATAM Airlines Group’s main hub at Sao Paulo Guarulhos International Airport.
Nicolas Goldstein, general manager for long haul business development at LATAM Airlines Group, commented: “Barcelona is our second most important destination in Spain and our sixth within Europe.
“With this new direct flight we are able to increase our connectivity with South America and expand our offering for customers who wish to travel for business and leisure.”
