airlineAirlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) reports it has established a Corporate Travel Advisory Board (CTAB) to advise ARC and assist in developing industry-leading products and services. The CTAB held its first meeting yesterday at ARC corporate headquarters with nine corporate travel managers.

Objectives of the board include providing industry insight into trends, marketing channel issues, corporate image and branding, and account management, ARC said. Board members, which will eventually number between 12 and 18, will serve for two years.

Companies represented at yesterday’s inaugural meeting included BAE Systems, The Coca-Cola Company, Reed Elsevier, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and 3M Company.

Subjects covered at the initial CTAB meeting included the New Distribution Capability (NDC), using data analysis to discover key trends, airline contract management and feedback from the board members about their pressing concerns within the corporate travel space, ARC said.
