Air France managers forced to flee irate employees

Two Air France managers have been chased from a meeting with employees following a disagreement over job cuts.

Human resources manager Xavier Broseta and senior official Pierre Plissonnier has their shirts torn from them as they clambered over a fence to escape irate workers.

Several others managers were injured during the incident.

The men were taking part in talks about plans for 2,900 job losses at the French flag-carrier.

However, the meeting was abandoned when hundreds of workers stormed into Air France headquarters at Roissy.

Parent firm Air France-KLM said it would take legal action over the protesters’ “aggregated violence”.

Several hundred demonstrators were reported to have entered the building shortly after four unions announced they were going on strike.
