Ryanair has signed an agreement that will see Ryanair’s low fares and ancillary services made available to Sabre-connected travel agencies and corporations across Europe via the Sabre global distribution system (GDS).
The combination of Ryanair’s low fares and extensive route network at primary and secondary airports, together with Sabre’s industry-leading retailing technology and growing reach across Europe, will enable Ryanair to further improve its business travel offering. Its launch with Sabre follows the introduction of Ryanair Business Plus last year and a dedicated corporate and group service, allowing even more businesses access to Ryanair’s low fares, saving European companies millions in travel expenses annually.
This is the latest in an on-going series of Ryanair customer experience improvements under the “Always Getting Better” program, including the launch of the new Ryanair website, a new app with mobile boarding passes, allocated seating, a second carry-on bag allowance and a dedicated family service, Family Extra, as Ryanair continues to offer so much more than just the lowest fares, with further improvements to come in 2015.
Ryanair’s Chief Marketing Officer, Kenny Jacobs said: “Ryanair is pleased to work with Sabre as we continue to improve our offering to an even wider range of business and corporate customers. With more than 27% of our customers already traveling on business, we are continuing to enhance Europe’s best business service, with the lowest fares, most on-time flights and our tailored Business Plus service. Business travellers, corporations and TMCs will now have greater access to our low fares and Europe’s largest route network thanks to our agreement with Sabre.”
Harald Eisenaecher, Senior Vice President, Sabre Travel Network, EMEA said: “Ryanair has become a popular option for corporate travellers and it’s now easier, faster and more efficient for travel agencies to shop and book Ryanair’s fares and ancillary content all within the Sabre system. Our industry-leading retailing capabilities also allow Ryanair to merchandise their fares and ancillaries the way they want to, ensuring brand consistency across all of its retail channels.”

It is one of the world’s largest marketplaces, processing over $110 billion in estimated travel spend.
Ryanair’s fares and ancillary products will be available on Sabre from the beginning of June 2015.
