cubaHaimark has debuted a brochure for its 2016 inaugural season of nine-night / 10-day People-to-People cruises that circumnavigate Cuba.

The itineraries, which sail roundtrip from Miami, begin February 11, 2016, from $4,599 per person/double occupancy.

The “Cuba 360˚: A Circumnavigation of the Cultures of Cuba” cruise aboard the 105-cabin MS Saint Laurent, operated in conjunction with United Caribbean Lines, offers travelers the chance to meet with people from across Cuba and explore the birthplace of salsa dancing and music, top rum and world-class cigars.

Guests will be able to take in sounds from the 1940s era Buena Vista Social Club at Havana’s Café Taberna and the Cantores de Cienfuegos Choir, as well as enjoy personal tours of contemporary artists’ studios and schools, beginning in Havana Viejo. Art and architecture tours will span 16th century structures in Trinidad and the French-influenced palaces in the colonial city of Cienfuegos, as well as the eclectic neighborhoods in Santiago de Cuba.

The itinerary will also visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as the green tobacco plantations and organic gardens of the Viñales Valley and the Alejandro de Humboldt National Park.
