The Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa in Riviera Nayarit has put the finishing touches on a four-year renovation project with the opening of a new water park.
The renovations, which started in 2011 and continued in 2013, included revamped guestrooms and lobby areas, expanded family amenities and new restaurants, as well as new wedding services and travel club facilities.
The new lobby now has locally inspired décor and modern furniture. The resort has also enhanced its food and beverage options. A new restaurant, “Ribs & More” joins the Mediterranean, Asian and Mexican eateries, in addition to the resort’s buffet style restaurant and seven bars. Palladium has also increased food and beverage staffing and implemented the Food Allergy Program brand initiative, in order to cater to guests travelling with food allergies.
The new splash zone and water park, designed for children, includes two new slides, shaped like a frog and crocodile, as well as new water cascades and water jet features. Additionally, Palladium has fully launched the Play at Palladium with Raggs entertainment program at the resort, which includes evening shows, Kids’ Club appearances and the “Raggs Breakfast” as part of the all-inclusive dining, in which the whole family can enjoy breakfast alongside Raggs and friends with foods shaped like dogs and other animals.
For parents, the resort has added new multi-tiered sundecks within sight of the new children’s pool. There is also a new swim-up bar.
The resort has also added two new wedding locations. One is a colonial style wedding chapel, which affords destination weddings the opportunity for a religious aspect of their ceremony on property. The other new terrace can be used for ceremonies or receptions, and offers panoramic views of Banderas Bay. Palladium’s Zentropia Spa & Wellness facility now has a bridal suite to allow brides to prepare for the big day. To celebrate the new venues, the resort is offering a “Simple Stunning” wedding package by Karen Bussen.
Palladium Travel Club members, who have memberships to all Grand Palladium and The Royal Suites properties, can now enjoy the new dedicated Travel Club bar and lounge. A new outdoor terrace offers ocean views and the opportunity to connect to Wi-Fi or watch the big game on TV.
To celebrate the new renovations, the property is offering a special promotion for bookings through March 31 on travel through April 30. This “Family Getaway” allows up to 2 children for half off and includes:
– Rates starting at $127 per person, per night (rate applies only to adults based on double occupancy)
