Nicki E. Grossman, president and CEO, Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, announced that Greater Fort Lauderdale will host the 49th Annual Florida Governor’s Conference in 2016 at the Diplomat Resort & Spa Hollywood, Curio Collection by Hilton.

Scheduled for September 7-9, 2016, the Florida Governor’s Conference will offer educational sessions by top industry experts, an interactive marketplace, networking and professional development sessions and the coveted Flagler Awards which recognize excellence in travel marketing.

The conference, which draws more than 1,000 attendees, was previously held in Greater Fort Lauderdale in 2005 and 2011.
