Sandals Resorts International (SRI), parent company of Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts is making significant enhancements to a variety of its award-winning resorts for 2015, as well as new additions to the resort portfolio.
The group revealed it has invested over $100 million into these developments which will be unveiled over the next twelve months.
Following an extensive renovation project, Sandals Barbados will open on 28th January 2015 featuring a selection of 280 luxury accommodations set within three distinct villages: Ocean Village, Crystal Lagoon Village and Caribbean Village, that range from opulent beachfront butler suites to new swim-up river suites situated in the resort’s lush tropical garden.
Sandals Barbados will also offer 11 Discovery Dining choices that span the globe from French Brasserie at Bayside and Japanese Teppanyaki at Kimonos to a world class steakhouse, Butch’s Chophouse, and the brand’s first ever Indian restaurant, Bombay Club; new contemporary furnishings throughout all rooms and suites including mahogany four-poster beds, flat-screen televisions, lavish bathrooms, and luxurious indoor and outdoor soaking tubs; Sandals’ exclusive Red Lane Spa with six new treatment rooms; Sandals Resorts signature fire pits; additional bars serving premium brand spirits, including Appleton Jamaica Estate Rum, and Sandals Resorts’ newest partner, Robert Mondavi Wines; an oceanfront main pool with swim-up bar; expansive whirlpool; reflecting pool with fire pit in the lobby; river pool accessible from swim-up suites and additional whirlpool in the resort’s gardens; state-of-the-art fitness centre and much more.
In other news from the group, Beaches Turks & Caicos: Beaches Turks & Caicos has completely renovated 12 Two-Bedroom Presidential Suites in the Caribbean Village, meanwhile Beaches Negril has added finding options from Asian cuisine with authentic Teppanyaki-style eating at Kimonos The brand’s sushi restaurant, Soy, will open in February. In addition, the resort’s famous Pirate’s Island Waterpark will debut another slide and stop section to its water play area and new decking.
