Africa is slowly gaining reputation as one of the globe’s best tourist destinations. Just take a look at how African Hut vacations are in demand nowadays. The number of tourists in the continent has risen, increasing the need for hotels across the region. Growth is very promising in the hotel industry, where this is expected to have a revenue growth of 15 billion USD in the next two or three years.
As an answer to this impending need to expand, a leading real estate solutions business, the IDE Consulting Services, is tasked to host the 10th Edition Hotelier Summit Africa. The said event will take on April 20th and 21st this year. This will be held at Johannesburg in South Africa. This event is in preparation for the 11th Edition Hotelier Summit Middle East.
The 10th Edition Hotelier Summit Africa will be attended by different companies from the GCC. Some of these will be coming from the UAE. The companies in question already made plans to attend the two mentioned events. Last year’s edition of the Hotelier Summit Africa was graced by the presence of representatives from the following companies — Winner International, RAK Ceramics, and Assad Daou. These companies reportedly recognized the event as a platform that helps them implement revolutionary progress in several key areas that include the likes of investments and procurement.
Director of IDE’s initiatives in Africa Ravi Kumar says that their objective is to promote efficiency and effectiveness in the real estate ecosystem in the region. They hope that they can help identify the hurdles that developers encounter so that they can come up with tailor fit solutions based on the accumulated experience of the whole industry.
Kumar also mentioned that they are now fast becoming a magnet to foreign investments and that he has seen hotel operators benefit by being the first to invest in the region.
