Xavier Moulin

SLS LUX at Baha Mar recently announced the official appointment of Xavier Moulin to the position of general manager and named Julian Cable-Treadwell director of sales and marketing.

The upcoming $3.5 billion Baha Mar resort and casino complex in Nassau, The Bahamas, is the first international venture for SLS LUX parent company, sbe, a global hospitality and entertainment company.

Moulin’s 19-year hotel management career has taken him to the French Riviera, Germany, Switzerland, Monaco, California and now The Bahamas. Moulin served as general manager for sbe’s flagship property, the SLS Hotel Beverly Hills, for just under three years and drove the sbe-owned/Starwood-managed asset into its best results since opening.

“Having been a part of the SLS brand and having witnessed its tremendous growth and success, I’m eager to continue my career with the brand managing the first international SLS property,” said Moulin in a written release. “The hotel business is my biggest passion and I’m looking forward to redefining luxury in The Bahamas.”

Cable-Treadwell comes to SLS LUX at Baha Mar with sales and marketing experience at hotels in Mexico, the Caribbean, Ireland and Australia. Most recently, Cable-Treadwell was director of marketing at San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino for more than eight years, where he was responsible for sales, marketing, promotional and revenue strategies.

“I love a new challenge and being a part of something groundbreaking, and Baha Mar is most certainly that,” said Cable-Treadwell. “Add to that joining a lifestyle brand like SLS and launching the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy and it’s a role that I’m more than excited to be taking on.”
