DSC Champagne ToastThe Colorado-based event management firm Destination Services Corporation (DSC) just announced that it has acquired Destination VIP, Inc. (DVIP), based in Utah and Jackson Hole.

Now united under the same name, DSC, the two companies will provide destination management expertise for corporate and incentive groups traveling to Aspen, Beaver Creek, Colorado Springs, Denver, Lake Tahoe, Vail, Salt Lake City, Park City, and Jackson Hole.

Kathy Fort Carty, president of DSC, says the acquisition will bring expanded destination, venue, and event options for corporate, association, and incentive event planners. “I’m thrilled at the opportunity to expand our footprint across the Rocky Mountains and Sierra Nevadas, staying true to our roots as a mountain region event specialist,” Carty said.

The new merger also aims to benefit hotel partners with more exposure and increased business as DSC expands its national sales and marketing efforts. Once the acquisition is complete, All Resort Group, the former owner of DVIP, will continue to operate its transportation services.

DSC is a Woman Owned (WBENC) certified, destination management and event production company operating offices in Colorado, Lake Tahoe, Utah, and Wyoming.
