Viceroy Hotel Group is appointing Victoria Stewart as General Manager of Viceroy New York, located on the iconic West 57th Street. Ms. Stewart, a luxury hotel veteran with over 10 years of management experience, began her position in October and is responsible for overseeing the imposing 29-floor hotel.
In her role as General Manager, Ms. Stewart will oversee Viceroy New York’s operations, as well as lead the New York team in delivering the company’s premier standards of service. The hotel – the group’s first Viceroy- branded property in New York – has successfully established itself as a chic uptown destination with an alluring, provocative and discerning “downtown” feel, further solidifying its status as one of the most sought- out locales in all of Manhattan.
Ms. Stewart joins Viceroy Hotel Group from Morgans Hotel Group’s Royalton New York where she served as General Manager for three years. Previously, she held senior management positions with Morgans Hotel Group at St. Martins Lane, and oversaw the London properties’ events division. She began her hospitality career managing private dining and events at the Great Eastern Hotel in London.
