Vacation.com has announced it will kick off its 2016 Spring Regional Events on March 10. Each regional event, themed “Focus on Success,” offers opportunities for training, networking with supplier partners and agents, and engaging with Vacation.com subject matter experts. This year’s Spring Regional Events are scheduled for March and April in the following cities:
- March 10 – Mt. Laurel, NJ, at The Westin Mount Laurel
- March 15 – Anaheim, CA, at The Hyatt Regency – Orange County
- March 22 – Denver, CO, at Omni Interlocken Hotel
- April 7 – Detroit, MI, at the Embassy Suites Troy
- April 19 – Houston, TX, at the Sheraton Suites Houston near the Galleria
The agenda for each event includes opportunities to learn more about Vacation.com’s Engagement marketing program. Engagement includes both consumer direct mail and email in which members now have the ability to select whether the “call-to-action” directs clients to either the agency or individual agent who has the client relationship. Time will also be devoted to maximizing agents' participation in Agent Snapshot, which promotes their distinct capabilities and personalities on the Vacation.com website.
Vacation.com will also teach its agents more about new features and functions in CruisePRO, the web-based tool that helps member agencies search, compare, sell, book and manage cruise vacations in one system. Vacation.com will also be introducing their new hotel booking tool, pinSIGHT. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to join in supplier partner roundtable discussions, training sessions designed, and a trade show.
