The Ascott has continued to expand its influence across Asia, adding four new serviced apartments to its portfolio in January including properties in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Turkey.
These properties are located in four key growing cities and are perfect for those travelling for both business and leisure.
These additional properties continue Ascott’s rapid global expansion, putting them on track for their target of 40,000 units by the end of 2015.
Lee Chee Koon, Ascott chief executive, said: “Ascott is the largest international serviced residence owner-operator in the world.
“We have opened our first properties in Cyberjaya, Sri Racha and Hai Phong and secured a contract to open a new property in Istanbul to cater to the increasing demand from multinational companies that are setting up base in these growing cities.

“Globally, we have over 50 properties still to be opened, of which 20 are slated to open this year.
“These include properties in China, India and Indonesia.”
Situated in Malaysia’s Multimedia Super Corridor, the Citadines DPulz Cyberjaya is perfectly located for those travelling or relocating in the multimedia industry.
It is a 20 minute drive away from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and is in easy reach of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya city centres.
It is also close to Cyberjaya’s brand new shopping centre, offering guests a myriad of entertainment and shopping options.
This new property has a selection of studios, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments. There are a host of facilities for guests to enjoy, including a swimming pool, fitness corner and meeting rooms.
Citadines Grand Central Sri Racha is based in Sri Racha, Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard region.
It is located close to the Laem Chabang Port and industrial estates where many multinational companies are based.
The location is also perfect for relocation thanks to its proximity to international schools and medical facilities.
This property is equally well suited for leisure guests, as it is also close to several large retail outlets including Pacific Park and Robinson.
Made up of a collection of studios, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments, the property has a sauna, fitness and business corners and a beautiful rooftop swimming pool.
The Somerset Central TD Hai Phong City is positioned in Vietnam’s third largest city, with Cat Bi International Airport and Hai Phong Train Station both within a ten minute drive away.
For business guests, Hai Phong is a fast growing hub of international business, including food processing, heavy and light industries.
For leisure visitors, the property is close to several tourist hotspots, including Hai Phong Museum and Tam Bac Lake.
This property also includes specious studios, one and two bedroom apartments, all with fully fitted kitchens as well as a swimming pool, a common lounge area, business corner and a play area for guests staying with children.
Ascott also won a management contract this month to open its first property in Istanbul in conjunction with Saudi-based real estate company Maslak Konaklama, due to be opened in 2016.
The 159-room Somerset Maslak will be located in one of Istanbul’s prime business and industry districts, including key financial institutions and Istanbul Technical University.
It will also be a fifteen minute walk from one of Istanbul’s largest malls.
The property will have apartments ranging from a large studio size up to four bedrooms and will include a swimming pool, lounge and play areas for guests with children.
