Silversea is now accepting reservations for its 116-day San Francisco to Monte Carlo World Cruise onboard Silver Whisper.
Departing January 6, 2017, the Silver Whisper will sail from San Francisco Bay for Hawaii and cross the International Date Line to the South Pacific, New Zealand, and Australia. Then, after visiting Bali and Sandakan, the ship will arrive at Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Singapore, before setting a course for India, the Middle East and the Mediterranean.
Guests sailing the full 116 days of World Cruise 2017 will enjoy a variety of special amenities, including a gala Bon Voyage reception, dinner and overnight stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco, baggage valet service, business class air and transfers (between airport, hotel, and Silver Whisper), a $4,000 Onboard Spending Credit (per double-occupancy suite), complimentary laundry service, and commemorative gifts. Additionally, for 2017 Silversea is adding complimentary dry cleaning service and free unlimited Wi-Fi for all full-cruise guests.
In addition, three shoreside events will be available on a complimentary basis to full-cruise guests. These events offer the opportunity to explore the site of China’s terra-cotta army of warriors in Xian on an overnight tour from Shanghai; witness free-roaming animals on Sir Bani Yas island off the coast of Abu Dhabi, followed by a lunch at the island’s resort; and dance back to the 1940s with live music at a nostalgic dinner served in Hangar 37, the entry point to Hawaii’s Pacific Aviation Museum in Pearl Harbor. Also, two Silversea Experiences will be complimentary for guests sailing 50 or more days: a beach party with lunch and entertainment on Boracay Island and an exclusive presentation at Malta’s Teatru Manoel, a restored 18th-century theater.
Guests will also have the chance to meet and mingle with destination experts, academics, journalists, diplomats and other specialists. Local entertainment, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, and regional specialties will also be available in each destination.
All-inclusive fares for World Cruise 2017 start at $61,550 per person, based on double occupancy. To view the complete itinerary, visit Silversea.com/destinations/world-cruise/world-cruise-2017.
