As part of its ‘Gourmet Discovery Dining’ programme, aimed at enhancing the overall quality and authenticity of the food and beverage experience at Sandals Resorts & Beaches Resorts throughout the Caribbean, Sandals is extending old favourites and newly developed restaurant concepts to additional resorts.
They begin with the addition of four new restaurants at Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort.
When it opens next week, The Jerk Shack, a nod to the classic treat and experience of Jamaica that recently debuted at the new Sandals Ochi Beach Resort, will be the first of four new eateries at Sandals Grande St. Lucian.
It will be joined upon completion in November 2015 by two Asian offerings – Kimonos, the beloved Japanese-style Teppanyaki restaurant and Soy, specialising in made to order sushi; and Bombay Club, the brand’s first ever Indian restaurant, which was first introduced at Sandals Barbados in January 2015.
This will bring the total number of restaurants at the resort to 12 and as before, guests of all three Sandals Resorts in St. Lucia benefit from the addition of restaurants to Sandals Grande St. Lucian thanks to the company’s exclusive, ‘Stay at One, Play at Three’ exchange programme.
According to Sandals Resorts chief executive Adam Stewart, the company is reviewing restaurant concepts at all Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts.
“We’re excited to bring more ‘Gourmet Discovery Dining’ options to our guests in St. Lucia and are actively reviewing choices at all our resorts.
“On average, guests spend six days with us so it’s critical that we present them with a choice of dining opportunities that not only exceed their expectations in terms of quality, but that are distinct, authentic and engaging,” concluded Stewart.
