Etihad Airways and Pakistan International Airlines have announced their newest codeshare agreement, expected to open easier travel connections between the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and other destinations.
As part of the new agreement, Etihad Airways will place its code on Pakistan International flights between Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Abu Dhabi. In addition, Pakistan International Airlines will put its code on Etihad Airways flights between Abu Dhabi and Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and other international destinations.
Passengers can book flights beginning Tuesday, June 30, 2015 for travel bookings on and after July 27, 2015. Due to the new codeshare, customers will have the opportunity to select over 70 international destinations for travel, including daily flights between the UAE and Pakistan. Etihad Airways will be offering daily flights from Abu Dhabi to Islamabad at 3:05 pm and 10:20 pm with return flights offered at 4:15 am and 9:25 pm daily. Similarly, Pakistan International will be offering several daily flights between Islamabad and Abu Dhabi.
