Meliá Hotels International has opened the new Meliá Ubud in Bali, the company’s fourth hotel in Bali and tenth in Indonesia.
The new Meliá Ubud is a 45-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport (also known as Denpasar), the third busiest airport in Indonesia, and offers easy access to the rest of the island.
The resort will consist of 49 keys, including a venue for weddings and events and a relaxation area with a YHI Spa.
Meliá’s other properties in Indonesia include Gran Meliá Jakarta, Melia Bali, Meliá Purosani, Sol Beach House Benoa Bali, and the upcoming Gran Meliá Bintan, Meliá Surabaya, Innside Yogjakarta, Innside Makassar and Sol House Legian, which are currently in the pre-opening stage. Meliá has 20 hotels in the Asia Pacific region and intends to continue expanding its portfolio.
