Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic has announced that environmental landscape artist Zaria Forman will join two of the line's Antarctica cruises on November 7 and 27.

Zaria’s inspiration for her drawings began in early childhood when she traveled with her family throughout some of the world's most remote landscapes, which were the subject of the work of her mother, renowned fine art photographer Rena Bass Forman, Lindblad said.

During her time exploring the Antarctic with Lindblad, Zaria will gather inspiration to create a body of work depicting the Antarctic landscape, while sharing her story and creative process with guests. Sven Lindblad has commissioned Zaria to create a drawing that will be reproduced as a limited-edition print, which will be gifted to all guests on these two expeditions.

The two itineraries are:

Antarctica, South Georgia & the Falklands, 24 days, departs November 7: On this voyage travelers will hike Antarctica and kayak its shore, and, on South Georgia, see the sunrise over a colony of tens of thousands of king penguins and discover the rugged Falklands. Rates begin at $22,430 per person in a category 1 cabin based on double occupancy.

Antarctica: The White Continent, 14 days, departs November 27: Guests will hike along shores near penguin rookeries, kayak peaceful coves, and Zodiac cruise through iceberg “alleys.” Rates begin at $12,970 per person in a category 1 cabin based on double occupancy.

For these two expeditions guests will also enjoy complimentary round-trip economy group airfare between Miami and Buenos Aires; inquire about other U.S. gateways. This offer is valid for new bookings only, subject to availability, and may not be combined with other offers and pre- and post-extensions.
