KLM Royal Dutch Airlines KLM Royal Dutch Airlines plans to add a Boeing 787-9 to its fleet in October 2015. This new aircraft will offer passengers a quieter and more fuel-efficient experience.

“The Boeing 787-9 enables KLM to offer passengers even more comfort and privacy,” said Pieter Elbers, president and CEO of KLM. “KLM has chosen to add specific improvements to this special aircraft, which make it unique among other 787s. All these details add up to ensure our passengers can experience a new way to fly.”

Added amenities include “World Business Class,” a state-of-the-art entertainment system and Wi-Fi for all passengers.

The “World Business Class” includes every passenger access to the aisle, new pillows and blankets and a 16-inch entertainment screen with dual screens.

In the economy class the seats recline 40 percent further, and all passengers have access to a power socket.
