The “Zippin Lava Eve” package starts with a zipline adventure covering nearly two miles of tropical river gorges. Zipline Through Paradise is the only company in the Hawaiian Islands to offer every line with the redundant double-cable safety system, zipSTOP automatic brakes and dual lines to zip with a friend.
The eight-line zip course includes views of multiple waterfalls from 160 feet above. The Wilderness First Aid and First Responder certified guides will guide your clients over one of the longest lines on Hawaii Island at more than 2,400 feet in length.
After catching their breath, clients will head to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to check into the world-renowned Volcano House, perched on the rim of the Kilauea Volcano caldera with a view toward Halemaumau crater.
Next, guests will take a tour of the Park with a Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Certified Guide. Once the sky is dark, they will head to the overlook at Jagger Museum to see the lava glow reflected in steam at the bottom of Halemaumau crater, showing the true character and power of the world’s most active volcano.
Upon returning to the Volcano House, guests will enjoy dinner with dancing and champagne to ring in the New Year. The next morning will offer breakfast and a walk to dramatic caldera vistas.
Package price is $2,999 for up to four guests and includes roundtrip ground transportation from hotel/residence, deluxe crater view accommodations and meals. Cash bar is available New Year’s Eve.
