Crystal has just released details on the culinary concept for the Crystal Esprit, the upcoming luxury yacht product being released as part of Crystal Cruises‘ major expansion.
The menu of Michelin-starred cuisine on the 62-guest yacht will focus on local ingredients of the Seychelles Islands and Mediterranean coast and will showcase many favorite dishes from Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity.
Dining options will range from from small bites and midnight snacks, to casual lunches al fresco and multi-course dinners.
The Yacht Club and its outdoor extension, the Patio Cafe, will serve a selection of Crystal’s modern and classic specialties, with made-to-order omelets, waffles and pancakes and a health bar with fresh fruit and vegetable juices for breakfast. Lunch options will include made-to-order pastas and risottos, seafood and meat antipasti, and a raw and salad bar, plus an a la carte menu offering local dishes. For dinner, guests can enjoy a Modern Tasting menu and a Classic menu, including locally inspired dishes, all served in a setting with expansive windows and sea breezes.
The Sunset Bar & Grill menu will offer burgers, wraps and locally inspired “global street food,” served tapas style and reflecting the destinations visited.
The Pantry will serve as the 24-hour “go-to” spot for freshly baked light snacks and pastries, coffee and a self-service wine bar.
Travelers in Crystal Esprit‘s Guest Suites will also be able to take advantage of 24-hour in-stateroom dining.
Crystal Esprit will set sail in December 2015, with rates starting at $3,240 per person for a six-day round trip Mahe/Victoria sailing when booked by October 31, 2015.
