Holland America Line’s cruise ship Statendam recently received a perfect score on the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s United States Public Health inspection. The inspection, conducted randomly during a trip to Juneau, Alaska, marked the cruise ship’s third consecutive year of perfect scores. |
The 14-day Roundtrip Seattle Trip where the inspection was conducted includes pit stops to Vancouver, Canada and Ketchikan, Juneau, Icy Strait Point, Anchorage, Homer, Kodiak, Hubbard and Sitka, Alaska. The trip includes shore excursions, hiking, sightseeing and other family-friendly activities. In Icy Strait Point, guests will get the chance to discover Alaska’s wilderness through kayaking, zip lining and beach walks. The trip starts at $799 per person for an interior stateroom. The voyage is also available in a seven-day option.
Statendam is not the only Holland America Line ship that received a top rating. Eurodam recently scored a perfect 100 on the same test, along with Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Ryndam, Zuiderdam and Westerdam all receiving top scores in the past year.
