Italy-Delta Vacations

Delta Vacations is expanding its product offerings in Italy. This includes wine and olive oil tastings. In addition to the tastings, there are now new hotels that can be booked.

“Italy is consistently one of our top destinations in Europe,” said John Caldwell, MLT Vacations president. “We are thrilled to bring our travel agency partners more choices and more opportunities for their clients to experience Italy’s wine and olive oil-making industries.”

The wine and olive oil tours, near Florance and Rome, are fully commissionable. During the tours, guests will visit at least two wineries, will have lunch at a local eatery, will have English-speaking guides and access to a private car service for up to six guests.

Book the day-long “Florence Countryside and the Chianti Classico Wine Tasting” tour for a chance to see the production and aging process of Chianti wines.

The “Olive Oil and Wine Tasting tour of the Frascati Hills” tour will bring guests to the Frascati Hills, home to some of Italy's most renowned wineries and olive oil producers.

Also, the new hotels that Delta has added include:

  • Hotel Lungarno, near the Ponte Vecchio in Florence
  • Hotel Delle Nazioni in Rome
  • Ludovisi Palace located in Rome near the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain
  • Hotel Monaco and Grand Canal, overlooking the Grand Canal and St. Mark's basin in Venice
  • Hotel La Palma Capri, Capri’s oldest hotel
