Delta Vacations, the official vacation provider of Delta Air Lines, has added new commissionable cooking classes and walking tours in Italy.
“We continue to grow our product offering in Italy to ensure our travel agency partners have convenient and reliable access to world-class experiences like these in some of the world’s most popular destinations for their clients,” said John Caldwell, president of Delta Vacations.
The new experiences in Rome include cooking lessons taught by professional chefs. There are also walking tours that include food and wine tastings. Guests can take a walking tour of the Borghese Gallery and Garden and of the Jewish Ghetto and Trastevere. Now, a full-day tour of Naples and Pompeii is also available.
Italian cooking classes will also be available in Florence, which will include a visit to a local market with a chef to shop for ingredients for a three-course meal.
Delta Vacations also has new hotels in its Italian portfolio, including the Sheraton Lake Como Hotel. This is Delta Vacations’ first property in the Lake Como region.
