Cuba Cruise has announced new details about its itinerary for the 2015-2016 season.
Weekly cruises are available from December 18, 2015, through March 21, 2016, sailing from Cuba’s capital city of Havana, to four ports of call: Maria la Gorda, Cienfuegos, Montego Bay (Jamaica), and Santiago de Cuba.
Guest activities include visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Trinidad and Cienfuegos, scuba diving off the Guanacahabibes peninsula, birdwatching, rainforest hiking, and cigar factory tours.
Also new this year is the People-to-People cruise program, which now allows American travelers to legally book a Cuba Cruise directly on the website, through a U.S. travel agent or on the phone. Guests participating in the program will spend time interacting with the local people and learning about Cuban culture and history, both onboard and ashore.
Cuba Cruise was launched in 2013, and is affiliated with Celestyal Cruises.
