Costa neoRomanticaOn April 24, Costa Cruises launched its first CostaClub Cruise aboard the Costa neoRomantica. The ship embarked on a 12-day voyage that departed Savona, Italy, and “slow-cruised” to Italy and Greece with calls in Naples and Trapani, Italy; Kalamata, Navplion, Volos and Athens, Greece; and Marseille, France.

Onboard, the 1,500 guests were treated to fine cuisine, music and entertainment, along with surprises and exclusive events such as a live concert by Ricchi e Poveri, a popular Italian group. Other highlights included dancing, elegant cocktail parties, evening soirees and a Great Italian Buffet Festival highlighting Italy's culinary traditions.

On August 23, the Costa Fortuna will be making a second CostaClub sail, a nine-day voyage that departs from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and will take guests to destinations in northern Europe with calls at Stavanger, Åndalsnes, Hellesylt, Geiranger, Olden, Flåm and Bergen, Norway. The trip will feature a “Bel Canto” theme, which will be accentuated by the presence of Cecilia Gasdia, an Italian soprano, as a guest of honor, and performances by renowned orchestra leaders and conductors, including Franco Zeffirelli, Claudio Abbado, Riccardo Muti and Zubin Mehta.
