Carlson Rezidor is planning two new Radisson Blu beach resorts in Mauritius: the Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa, Mauritius (100 rooms), the Radisson Blu Azuri Residence & Suites, Mauritius (57 residences) and the Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette Resort & Spa, Mauritius (100 rooms) are conversions of existing properties and will already be rebranded in Q3 2015.
All properties are situated on the north-eastern coast of Mauritius Island, one of the most beautiful and attractive resort destinations in the Indian Ocean.

The Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa with the Radisson Blu Azuri Residence & Suites islocated directly on a beach part of Azuri, one of the best designed seafront towns on the island. Opened in December 2013, the Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa is a 100 room resort which offers an array of services and facilities, including 4 restaurants and bars, 2 swimming pools, a 300m² spa, a well-equipped fitness centre, a club lounge, a kids’ club, and a full range of outsourced water and land activities (i.e. snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, pedalos, glass-bottom boat, scuba diving, canyoning, deep sea fishing, tennis courts, climbing facilities and quad bikes). Moreover, the Radisson Blu Azuri Residence and Suites have been designed to provide 5 star hospitality, leisure and retail facilities to the residents and guests.
The Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette Resort & Spa, a 100 key resort, opened its doors in December 2012. Located across nearly 3 acres on the east coast, the facilities offered to guests comprise of three restaurants, a spa, a business centre, a gym, and an outdoor swimming pool. It offers numerous outsourced water and land activities which include volleyball, beach badminton, boccia and darts, snorkeling, kayaking, pedalos, glass-bottom boat, scuba diving and bike rentals. Guests can also be shuttled to the Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa.
The three properties are one hour away from the international airport of Mauritius, and are located not far from sights such as the botanical garden of Pamplemousses, île aux Cerfs, Cap Malheureux and Grand Baie. Mauritius’ capital city Port Louis is 25 km away.
Mauritius is located in the Indian Ocean, about 2,000 km off the southeastern coast of Africa. The island is surrounded by more than 150 km of sandy beaches, and the turquoise lagoons are protected from the open sea by the world’s third largest coral reef.
The Radisson Blu resorts in Mauritius will be operated by The Rezidor Hotel Group.
