SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — During Travel Agent's ongoing coverage of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association's Caribbean Travel Marketplace, we learned that Best Western‘s plans to open two new Caribbean hotels by the end of the year.
Tom Osborn, regional director for North American Development for Best Western, also told Travel Agent the company plans on sending someone to scout possible areas for development in Cuba in the next few months.
As far as this year's openings go, Best Western will be opening properties in both Antigua and St. Maarten by the end of the year. The Antigua property will be a new build.
