Corinthia Hotel Budapest has opened its brand-new Royal Lounge, Hungary’s first lounge dedicated to organisers of MICE events.
The Royal Lounge is the first MICE-dedicated lounge to be introduced among Hungary’s grandest hotels.
Its state-of-the-art spaces and facilities promise to greatly enhance the comfort and convenience of event organisers, as well as the efficiency of organisational work.
The Royal Lounge has been designed by British interior designer Martin Goddard, who also designed the hotel’s newly revamped One-Bedroom Executive Suites.
Furnished in club style, the Royal Lounge features offices, boardrooms and rest sections, all fitted with 21st-century equipment to facilitate daily work but also to provide the necessary comforts for corporate guests.

Reserved exclusively for event organisers and meeting participants, the lounge features private meeting rooms, fully equipped with built-in smart screens, wireless printers and mobile chargers, making it the perfect place to meet clients.
The Royal Lounge is further located close to the hotel’s events team, allowing for easy and direct contact with the hotel’s staff.
Bang & Olufsen, Mars, Johnson & Johnson, Linux and other companies have already had the chance to put the Royal Lounge to the test – with a very positive result.
Feedback has highlighted that the total privacy of the Lounge, as well as its convenient location close to the hotel’s Events Team, the latter of which ensures smoother communication and a closer relationship between the hotel and the client.
“We are confident that with the inauguration of the Royal Lounge, we can provide our MICE clients with a unique added value.
“The Lounge ensures meetings organisers have everything they need to carry out their work in comfort and without interruption, by eliminating distractions and making sure our Events team is always at their disposal.
“We believe that this new facility at Corinthia Budapest will ensure the continued success of events run at the hotel,” said Corinthia Budapest general manager Jean Pierre Mifsud.
