AmaWaterways has announced the debut of its first “Taste of Bordeaux” sailings along the Garonne and Dordogne rivers onboard the AmaDolce.
The seven-night roundtrip Bordeaux sailings visit famous châteaux and vineyards, with stops at Cadillac’s Roquetaillaide Castle, a Grand Cru Classé wine tasting in Pauillac, an excursion at Château de Montaigne in Libourne and more. Optional pre- and/or post-cruise land extensions are available with panoramic city tours in Paris and additional château visits and wine tastings in the Loire Valley. Ten of AmaWaterways’ 24 “Taste of Bordeaux” sailings in 2016 will be special wine-themed voyages, led by top wine experts.
