United Airlines flights have resumed flying after a computer glitch grounded planes for two hours the morning of Wednesday, July 8, Bloomberg reports.
The disruption began before 8 am Eastern Time and lasted until nearly 10 am, resulting in 75 delayed flights, 3 percent of United's daily total.
A statement by the Federal Aviation Administration said that “automation issues” had caused a temporary suspension of takeoffs in the U.S.
