On June 27 and 28, Sabre will be hosting a hackathon to motivate developers from around the world to create new, innovative apps for travel. The non-stop event, Destination Hack, will be hosted in London, where technology wizards will compete to win cash prizes of up to £10,000 using Sabre Dev Studio APIs and open technology provider tools. Participants are encouraged to use coding and outside information to craft the best possible prototypes.
Among the judges for the event will be Jon Bradford of Techstars London, Susan Standiford of Zeal Network and Greg Webb of Sabre Travel Network, as well as other leaders in the travel and technology industries. They will award winning developers with cash prizes and giveaways based on categories like “People’s Choice,” “Best Wearable Hack,” “Most Potential” and “Most Likely to Succeed.”
So far, over 250 developers from around the world have signed up for the event. For more information, visit https://developer.sabre.com/hackathons/london2015.
