On October 1, Qatar Airways will launch a year-round daily service to Cape Town, Cape Town Tourism has announced.
The new schedule represents an increase from Qatar Airways' current three flights a week, and comes as the airline is celebrating a decade of service to South Africa.
Additionally, Cape Town now has a Halaltrip app that makes it easier for Halaal visitors to keep up to date with prayer times and find their closest Mosques and Halaal facilities as they travel.
The app features Cape Town and makes mention of Halaal restaurants, such as Mezbaan, Alhambra Restaurant and Coffee Shop, Atlantic Express Cake and Coffee Train, Bokaap Kombuis, Eastern Food Bazaar, Food Inn India, Kaprinos, The Lounge on Kromboom, Pepperazzi and Zaika.
