NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — John C. Tune Airport in Nashville is closing for two months for renovations and airfield reconstruction projects.
The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, which owns and operates the airport and Nashville International Airport, says the project is intended to extend the runway and runway safety area.
The apron and hangar floors will be rehabilitated, and the terminal will be renovated. Landscaping and signage will also be enhanced.
The closure begins Monday and is expected to last through July 30.
