Hilton Worldwide has announced a new partnership with ANA to introduce new airline lounges and in-flight services, starting with the airline's flights between Tokyo and Honolulu.
The initial phase of the alliance, which will run between June 1 and August 31, will introduce Hilton hospitality concepts at ANA's Haneda and Narita airport lounges and on flights between Tokyo and Honolulu.
The Hawaiian-focused partnership, which will last until 2017, is the start of a three-phase collaboration between the two brands. Hawaii was selected as the first destination to kick start the program, as it is one of the most popular holiday destinations for the Japanese and the campaign period sits within the summer peak season travel period, Hilton said in a statement announcing the new initiative.
The new lounge experience at Haneda and Narita airports in Japan includes new lounge menu offerings, which were specially created by chefs at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort, as well as a Hawaii-focused destination video playing in the lounge.
Additionally, travelers in both the economy and business classes on all ANA flights between Tokyo and Honolulu can look forward to Hawaiian-inspired menus designed by chefs at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort, a 30-minute Hawaii destination video and a mini guidebook that was commissioned for this partnership.
