Hurtigruten, an Arctic voyaging and expedition travel group, has announced that it will be offering incentives this summer for departures to Greenland.
Aboard the MS Fram, an IAATO (International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators) expedition team will introduce guests to the history and heritage of Greenland’s early settlers on the Glaciers & Ice itinerary. The team will also lead photography workshops on Arctic Wilderness Adventure tours.
Climate change expert Dr. Jason Box will guide the Climate & Ice sailings.
Guests can save up to 38 percent off regular prices with Hurtigruten’s Unspecified Cabin Guarantee, which is available when booking inside, outside or suite cabins.
Guests who reserve an inside cabin will receive a free upgrade to an outside cabin, and those who book air travel through Hurtigruten will also receive a $250 per person credit.
A special fare is available to guests on Glaciers & Ice excursions for $5,982 per person for a double cabin, and $9,018 for suites. Departure dates for the two sailings are June 2 and July 3, 2015. Voyages travel from Reykjavik, Iceland, to Greenland’s southern shore.
The Arctic Wilderness Adventure tour, which travels throughout Greenland’s Disko Bay area, departs June 13, 2015 and has a reduced rate starting at $7,195.
