Tom Harper River Journeys has announced the debut of its own river vessel for the 2016 season, MS Birdsong.
Built and based in Europe, the 88-cabin Birdsong includes an array of cabins dedicated to singles with no single supplement charge, and a fitness and wellness center. The ship’s inaugural 12-day cruise from Basel, Switzerland, to Amsterdam is slated for March 2016, and reservations can be made via Tom Harper’s online booking system.
The Birdsong‘s solo, 132 square foot staterooms, will be located on the middle and upper decks and include French balconies. Other features of the ship include a wine bar, a fitness and wellness center including a relaxation area equipped with chaises, oversized windows, a whirlpool and sauna, all with scenic views, and service geared toward English-speaking travelers.
Throughout 2016, Birdsong will operate eight to 13 day river cruise tours along the waterways of Holland and Belgium, the Rhine, Main, Moselle, and Danube rivers, including options during Christmas Market season and special sailings over the Christmas and New Year holidays.
The Birdsong’s land explorations will include no more than 24 guests per group.
