Macdonald Forest Hills Hotel & Spa in Aberfoyle, Stirlingshire has appointed award winning hotelier Jody Marshall as its new general manager.
Marshall joins the team at the hotel nestled within the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park with key responsibility to further drive growth in all areas of the business that includes 55 stylish bedrooms, the AA rosette Garden Restaurant and a luxurious spa.
Born and raised in Zimbabwe, the 41 year-old brings a wealth of industry experience to Macdonald Forest Hills Hotel & Spa.
He was most recently general manager of Ballathie House Hotel in Perthshire and of the Summer Isles Hotel at Achiltibuie by Ullapool.
Reflecting on his appointment to a role previously held by Morag Stark (who recently left the group), Marshall said: “I’m proud and excited to be part of the award winning Macdonald Hotels & Resorts.
