Southern California’s newest boutique inn, The Landsby, has announced its opening in spring 2015.
Located at the center of the Danish village of Solvang in Santa Barbara county, the newly renovated hotel will combine contemporary décor with traditional Scandinavian elements. Designed by LA-based firm, Studio Collective, the Landsby hopes to become a unique destination for travelers visiting wine country, as well as a place for the local community to gather.
The hotel lobby has been completely restructured to allow space for lounge areas, a bar, and a redesigned outdoor garden that is available to all guests. The Landsby’s new restaurant, Mad + Vin, will offer a menu inspired by the local food and wine of the California coast, and the 41 guestrooms will be decorated with artwork commissioned by a regional artist.
