Structurally both the guest areas and suites have been enhanced with floor-to-ceiling French doors leading on to expansive verandas, which boast dramatic views of the valley.

Inside, the unique African adobe style at Phinda Rock Lodge has been enhanced with an earthy soft grey palette and the lodge now boasts interiors that are raw and natural but still convey a sense of luxury and elegance.
The lodge’s guest areas have also been redecorated using a combination of woven linen, hand-embroidered cotton and exquisite Persian carpets.
The colour scheme is an elegant combination of oatmeal, grey and stone. All decks have been reconfigured to allow plenty of space for al fresco dining, with stretched canvas shades for protection from the sun.
Bathrooms have been completely refurbished to feature raw timber slabs and handsome granite surfaces.
