If you’re trying to flirt with a native Brasileiro or Brasileira, the first thing you need to avoid is dropping pickup lines that you found in a “Portuguese for Beginners” textbook from the 90s. As a Brazilian, I think everyone should have a fair shot at a little Latin love; so I taught my American gringo friend how to hit on a Brazilian in Portuguese and it went a little something like this.
