Allure of the Seas arrives in Europe for summer cruising season

Royal Caribbean International’s Allure of the Seas has emerged from an 18-day dry dock revitalisation and begun her first season of European itineraries.

The ship, formerly based in the Caribbean, will home-port in Barcelona until October 2015, sailing to destinations including Marseilles, Pisa and Rome, while offering a host of new restaurants, high-end boutiques and refurbished suites and staterooms that combine to offer an unmatched European adventure for the whole family.

With 18 distinct restaurants, Allure of the Seas ramps up the flavour with a host of new culinary experiences.

These include Izumi Hibachi & Sushi, a reimagined Izumi Japanese Cuisine, offering a full teppanyaki menu, as well as fresh and flavoursome sushi rolls and sashimi.

Also on offer is Coastal Kitchen, an exclusive restaurant for suite guests and Pinnacle members, fuses Mediterranean influences with the unmatched riches of California’s bountiful farmlands.

The experience is complemented by a robust wine list, curated specifically for the venue.

Holidaymakers on board Allure of the Seas can also continue to enjoy Giovanni’s Table, 150 Central Park and Vintage Wine Bar, as well as all the popular specialty restaurants introduced on the Oasis Class of Royal Caribbean ships.

Royal Caribbean is introducing ten new suites on the newly revitalised ship – including two Royal Suites, six Grand Suites and two Royal Family Suites – offering breath-taking views of the ocean or the ship’s signature AquaTheater and Boardwalk neighbourhood.

Allure of the Seas will be home-ported in Barcelona, Spain, for the first full Oasis-class European season through to October 2015, before returning to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in November 2015, where she will alternate exciting seven-night Western and Eastern Caribbean warm weather getaway itineraries every Sunday.
