SuperStar Virgo to homeport in Kaohsiung from March

Star Cruises has announced the launch of a new three-month Kaohsiung homeport deployment of flagship SuperStar Virgo.

The vessel will offer and a six day/five night Golden Triangle Journey from the port, featuring ports of call in Hong Kong, Manila and Laoag, allowing Taiwanese cruisers the flexibility to embark or disembark in Kaohsiung, Hong Kong or Manila.

This new homeport and itinerary will provide a boost to the travel industry of Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

In 2013 and 2015, Star Cruises’ flagship, SuperStar Virgo, launched her Kaohsiung-Hong Kong itinerary during her homeport in Kaohsiung, which was well received by passengers from Taiwan.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Genting Hong Kong’s establishment of Star Cruises’ Taiwan office, SuperStar Virgo will return to Taiwan with Kaohsiung as her homeport from March to May.

Passengers who depart from Northern Taiwan can enjoy Japanese destinations such as Naha, Ishigaki and Miyakojima in Okinawa, while passengers who opt for departures from Southern Taiwan will appreciate fascinating destinations including Hong Kong and Manila and Laoag in the Philippines.
