For their new $450 million ship, Regent Seven Seas Cruises is pulling out all the stops. The 750-passenger Seven Seas Explorer, which will begin sailing the Mediterranean in the summer of 2016, will have ten suite categories, the brand's highest space ratio, and a slew of enhancements.
There will be a two-bedroom 3,875-square-foot Regent Suite, which is not only the largest suite at sea, but also has its own black marble bar, custom Steinway piano, and in an industry first, a personal spa. Guests can enjoy unlimited Canyon Ranch massages in their treatment room and relax in the sauna.
The three specialty restaurants have been given updated, contemporary decor: steakhouse Prime 7 features dark purple hues and silver accents, while Compass Rose, the main dining room, has a sleek airy look with an aqua chandelier as a showpiece.
La Veranda has floor-to-ceiling windows and 270 degree ocean views. Another highlight: the two-tiered 694 seat theater. The overall vibe? Contemporary and polished, with all the luxurious touches you'd expect from the fully-inclusive brand, which adds value with shore excursions, airfare, and airport transfers. The ship makes its maiden voyage, sailing from Monte Carlo to Venice, on July 20, 2016.
