MSC Cruises has taken part in the inauguration of the new cruise terminal at Zayed Port in Abu Dhabi, officially marking the beginning of the winter 2015/16 season with MSC Musica homeporting there for the duration of the season.
MSC Musica will take guests from Dubai or Abu Dhabi on a series of seven-night cruises in a one of the most fascinating and diverse regions in the world.
Speaking in conjunction with the inaugural ceremony, Gianni Onorato, chief exexutive of MSC Cruises, declared: “It is an honour for MSC Cruises to have MSC Musica berthed here at Zayed Port, marking the first time that a global cruise line has homeported in this fascinating and captivating city.
“It also reflects the importance of the region as a place for our guests to visit and is testament to MSC Cruises’ capacity to offer the most sought-after destinations as they become accessible.”
Some 16 cruises leaving from either Dubai or Abu Dhabi are planned for this season on the 3,200-guest ship from December until the end of March 2016.
