Costa Cruises is to launch a new summer cruise on board the Costa Luminosa, allowing guests the unique opportunity to visit Moscow for a day.
The ‘Jewels of the Baltic’ itinerary is available throughout August 2016, with weekly sailings from Stockholm.
Costa Luminosa calls at Helsinki, St. Petersburg and Tallinn, before returning to Stockholm.
During the port call in St. Petersburg, guests will have the exclusive opportunity to visit Moscow on the new bullet train.
The Sapsan takes just four hours to reach the Russian capital and the ‘Moscow in a day’ tour starts with an energy-boosting breakfast on the high-speed train.

The first stop is a tour of the Kremlin and a visit to the Armory Museum.
Travellers can then explore the spectacular St. Basil’s Cathedral and look round Red Square at their leisure, before enjoying dinner on the train back to St. Petersburg.

The panoramic tour of the home of the Czars takes in the main tourist attractions, including the Winter Palace and St. Isaac’s Cathedral.
