Corinthia Hotels has appointed a new UK-based conference and incentives team.
Janet Broomfield takes on the role of group director of sales, UK, meetings and events, while Alessia Cappuccini joins as corporate and MICE sales manager.
Jane Colbeck-McKinnon will support their work in her role as regional sales coordinator.
Working closely with Corinthia director of global corporate and MICE sales, Carey Duckworth, the team will focus on working with key UK MICE agencies.
Broomfield has over 15 years’ experience working within the hospitality sales industry and joins Corinthia Hotels from her previous role as director of global sales, conference and incentives at Rocco Forte Hotels.
Prior to that, she held several senior positions at Marriott International, Jumeirah International and Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts.
Cappuccini has a strong background in hotel sales – a graduate of Les Roches International School of Hotel Management, Alessia has previously worked at the Orient Express Group and Hilton Worldwide.
Colbeck-McKinnon comes from a background in MICE sales and has been based both in the UK and the Middle East.
Welcoming their appointments, Duckworth said “We are delighted to welcome Janet, Jane and Alessia to the Corinthia family.
“They are joining the group at a very exciting time, as our five-star hotels continue to refine their product, service and reputation, and attract increasing business from the UK.”
