Cuba Cruise reveals plans for 2016 holiday season

Now wrapping up its second consecutive season, Cuba Cruise has announced new details about its highly anticipated return to the island next winter.

The trailblazing company has launched a brand new cruise itinerary for its 2015/2016 season, including two full days in Cuba’s vibrant capital city and a new port of call in idyllic, palm-fringed Maria la Gorda.

Travellers can join the cruise in Montego Bay, Jamaica or Havana, Cuba every week from December 18th, 2015 to March 21st, 2016.

“From when we first launched in 2013 to this year’s US/Cuba announcement, it has been one incredible journey for our guests, crew, staff and partners,” said Dugald Wells, Cuba Cruise president.

“We look forward to another successful and exhilarating season in Cuba, visiting new destinations and returning to guest favourites like Havana, Cienfuegos and Santiago de Cuba.”

The 2015/2016 cruise program begins in Cuba’s crown jewel, Havana, and then travels southeast visiting an additional four ports of call: Maria la Gorda, Cienfuegos, Montego Bay (Jamaica), and Santiago de Cuba.

Guests can also travel in the opposite direction, embarking from Montego Bay.

Cuba Cruise invites travellers to create their own adventure through choosing a variety of activities from bird watching to snorkelling, rainforest hiking, and cigar factory tours.

Guests have the option to explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites, like colourful Trinidad and colonial Cienfuegos, relax on world-famous beaches like Negril (Jamaica), scuba dive off the Guanacahabibes peninsula, one of the most protected areas in Cuba, dance to iconic Trova music in the Oriente province and more.
